Summary
New transactions may take time to appear because Nance depends on your bank’s data availability. Sync is near real-time, but not instant.
Why This Happens
Nance does not generate transactions on its own — it reflects what your bank provides.
There are a few reasons for delays:
1. Bank Processing Time
Banks don’t always finalize transactions immediately. Some payments (like UPI, card swipes, or pending charges) may take time to be confirmed and shared.
2. Sync Timing Windows
Nance syncs data automatically based on:
- Your selected sync windows (morning/night)
- System activity cycles
If a transaction happens outside these windows, it will appear in the next sync cycle.
3. Bank Availability & APIs
Sometimes banks delay sending updated data due to:
- Temporary downtime
- Slow API responses
- Maintenance on their end
Nance can only show transactions once the bank makes them available.
Important to Know
- Nance sync is automatic — there is no manual sync option
- Transactions are near real-time, not instant
- Most transactions appear within a few hours, depending on the bank
- If a transaction is still missing after a long delay, it’s usually due to the bank not updating it yet
If needed, you can temporarily track it using manual cash entry until it reflects automatically.
