Summary
A transaction may be missing in Nance if your bank hasn’t shared it yet or if it hasn’t been included in the latest sync cycle.
Why This Happens
Nance only displays transactions received from your bank. If something is missing, it’s usually due to timing or data availability.
1. Transaction Not Yet Processed by Bank
Some transactions (especially card payments, UPI, or pending charges) are not immediately finalized by the bank.
Until the bank confirms and shares it, Nance cannot show it.
2. Outside Sync Window
Nance syncs automatically based on:
- Your selected sync windows (morning/night)
- System-triggered sync cycles
If the transaction happened after the last sync, it will appear in the next cycle.
3. Bank Delays or Downtime
Banks may delay sending transaction data due to:
- Server issues
- Maintenance
- API delays
This can temporarily prevent transactions from appearing in Nance.
4. Account Not Synced Recently
If your account hasn’t synced recently (due to inactivity or connection issues), newer transactions may not be fetched yet.
Important to Know
- Nance does not miss transactions — it reflects what your bank provides
- Sync is automatic; there is no manual sync option
- Transactions are near real-time, not instant
- Most delays resolve within a few hours
If the transaction is still missing after a significant delay, check your bank app first. If it appears there but not in Nance, you may need to reconnect your account.
