Summary
When you remove an account from Nance, its transaction history is also removed from your dashboard and will no longer be accessible.
What Happens in Nance
Nance links all transaction data directly to the connected account. When that account is removed:
- All associated transactions are removed from your view
- The data is no longer included in:
- Insights and analytics
- Budgets and reports
- Smart scenarios and search results
This ensures your dashboard only reflects active, connected accounts.
If You Reconnect the Same Account
- The account will start syncing again
- Transactions will be fetched fresh from the bank
- Past data may reappear based on what the bank provides during sync
Important to Know
- Removal is tied to the account connection, not just hiding data
- There is no partial retention—once removed, the data is no longer available in Nance
- Syncing resumes only after the account is connected again
Remove the account, and its history leaves with it. Clean slate.
