Summary
Your dashboard may show old data if your latest transactions haven’t synced yet, usually due to timing of your sync window or delays from the bank.
Why This Happens in Nance
Nance depends on bank-provided data, so your dashboard updates only after a successful sync.
1. Sync Has Not Happened Yet
- Nance syncs based on your selected sync window (morning/night)
- If the next sync hasn’t occurred yet, your data will appear outdated
2. Bank-Side Delay
- Your bank may not have shared the latest data yet
- This can delay:
- New transactions
- Updated balances
3. Temporary Sync Failure
- Sometimes sync may fail due to:
- Bank server issues
- Network or connectivity problems
- In such cases, data updates in the next sync attempt
4. Recent Transactions Not Processed Yet
- Even after a transaction happens:
- It may take some time for the bank to make it available
- Nance can only show what the bank provides
What You Can Do
- Check the “Last Updated” time
- Wait for the next sync window
- Ensure your account connection is active
Important to Know
- There is no manual sync option
- Nance provides near real-time updates, not instant guarantees
- Delays are usually due to the bank side, not Nance
If it looks old,
it’s usually waiting on the bank—not Nance.
