What You Can Edit
From the Transaction Details page, you can update:
- Category โ Main classification (e.g., Food, Travel)
- Subcategory โ More specific classification
- Contact / Merchant โ Who the transaction is associated with
How to Edit
- Go to the Transactions page
- Tap on the transaction you want to edit
- Open the editable fields (category, subcategory, contact)
- Make your changes
- Save the updates
What Happens After Editing
- Your changes are applied instantly
- Insights, budgets, and reports are updated accordingly
- Nance may use your edits to improve future auto-categorization
Important to Know
- You cannot edit amount, date, or transaction source
