Where SMS-based tracking is available, Nance may request access to relevant financial SMS messages to identify and record transactions as they occur. This helps Nance detect UPI payments, bank transfers, bill payments, dues, balances, and other financial activity that may not yet be available through other data sources. SMS-based tracking may also help improve transaction coverage, categorization, and the timeliness of information displayed within Nance.
Nance only analyses SMS messages that may contain relevant financial information required to support these features. Not all SMS messages will be interpreted correctly, and telecom filtering, sender naming patterns, formatting differences, message delays, missing messages, or other technical limitations may affect the accuracy and completeness of the information identified through SMS analysis.
SMS permissions may be disabled by you at any time through your device settings or other supported controls. However, disabling SMS access may limit certain features, reduce transaction coverage, delay updates, or affect the freshness and accuracy of information presented within Nance.
