Summary
You can create a Smart Group either by selecting transactions or by creating a new group first and then adding transactions to it.
How This Works in Nance
Nance gives you two ways to create Smart Groups, depending on how you prefer to organize your spending.
Method 1: From Transactions
- Go to the Transactions page
- Select the transactions you want to group
- Tap “Add to Group”
- Choose “Create New Group”
- Enter a group name
- Save
Method 2: Create Group First
- Go to the Groups section
- Tap “New Group”
- Enter a group name
- Create the group
- Add transactions to the group
What Happens After Creating
- Transactions are linked under the Smart Group
- You can:
- View total spend
- Track all related transactions together
- You can add or manage transactions anytime
Important to Know
- Smart Groups do not affect:
- Categories
- Budgets
- Core transaction data
- They are purely for organization and contextual tracking
Start with transactions.
Or start with intent.
