Summary
Nance currently tracks financial activity only from connected bank accounts, credit cards, and manually added cash transactions. It does not track investments or other financial products that are not linked as bank or card transactions.
Financial Activity Nance Cannot Track
Nance focuses on helping you understand your spending and financial behavior using transaction data from bank accounts and credit cards. Because of this design, the app cannot track financial information that falls outside these sources.
Investments and investment accounts
Nance does not track investment-related information such as:
- stock portfolios
- mutual funds
- bonds
- trading accounts
- investment performance
These types of financial data are not currently connected to Nance.
Financial products outside bank or card transactions
Nance cannot track financial products or assets that do not generate transactions through your connected bank or credit card accounts. This includes things like investment accounts or other financial services that operate separately from your bank transactions.
Unconnected financial accounts
If a bank account or credit card is not connected to Nance, the transactions from that account will not appear in the app.
Cash activity that is not recorded manually
Nance cannot automatically detect cash spending or income. If you want cash activity to be included in your financial insights, you need to add those transactions manually.
Transactions that have not yet been recorded by the bank
Nance can only display transactions that are already recorded by your bank or credit card provider. If a transaction is still pending or has not been processed yet, it may not appear until the bank updates its records.
Because Nance is designed around bank and credit card transaction data, its insights and analytics are based on the financial activity that flows through those connected accounts.
